🎯 Target Audience

This track is intended for all training beneficiaries within the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA) framework. It is recommended as a prerequisite that forms the basis for all subsequent specialized training. This includes:

  • High-level policymakers & regulators
  • Mid-senior level policymakers & regulators
  • Decision makers (entry before P3 content) into more advanced tracks (like P2, P3, or P4)

📊 Level & Delivery Format(s)

This is classified as Level 1 (Foundational), focusing on describing fundamentals and participating in high-level discussions. Primarily delivered online to reach a large audience, using accessible formats such as:

  • Micro-learning: Bite-sized content like 60–90 second videos and fact cards.
  • Self-paced courses: Online lessons that participants can complete at their own speed.
  • Webinars: Live or recorded online seminars.

🏅 Deliverables

Upon successful completion, participants receive a digital badge.

🎯 Target Audience

The primary audience is high-level policymakers and regulators, such as director generals and permanent secretaries, who are responsible for the formulation and oversight of national and continental policies.

An in-person executive-track. This format is chosen to provide unparalleled opportunities for networking and collaboration through:

  • Interactive briefings.
  • Facilitated cross-agency labs.
  • Coalition-building exercises designed to improve teamwork and align national agendas.
  • Capstone events: Leveraging existing policy conferences and summits (such as the Transform Africa Summit or GITEX Africa) for real-world dialogue.
